I KNEW this guy superficially personally. In 1984 or so i was in American Citizens for Honesty in Government, a Church of CIAntology subsidiary, along with 2 equally naive women. We and some other people put together a big anti-CIA shindig at the University of TX Austin.
He was part of the preps as well as a speaker.
I remember being at the after-event get-together and the Austin Assistant Guardian (Guardian's Office, Scientology), Debbie Sharp (CIA satanist SSer) was hobnobbing with ACLU execs etc. I had no idea that the CIA was having us do this event which actually downplayed how evil they are.

I also bought "his" book, In Search of Enemies, and tried to read it but only read a fraction. Didn't grab me somehow.
