This is the continuation of a thread i derailed:
NEXRAD Doppler Radar TOWERS Control the WEATHER?

You might read it first.
I posted this pic April 30:
This is the other piece, still aiming up as my turtles program it. A first. These are my 16 large sentient turtles, and they are no slouches. They have been programming it for days.
They continued to program it until 11am today! I suspected them of hijacking it to take over the universe.
And they don't want to pgm anything else. Not something they ordinarily do.
Here it is now. The silvery cast turned out smeary.
You can see the shapes i chose: 1 pyramid, 2 spheres, 3 large crystal shapes, 1 copper pipe. 3 steep, blunt, cones made using dollar store mini traffic cones.
These were the molds i had on hand, and i believe they will work as well as the molds JoeOB recommends...
The final (silvery) cast did not get charged on the facial wand setup, as it contained no stones and no metal other than a piece of hardware cloth which did not need it.
That is not aluminum powder, and besides i'm pretty sure metal powders with not take the facial charge.

which are very difficult to incorporate into devices effectively. But i got the green light on this one.
First i poured a bit less than 3 qts of epoxy which got Lightning Pgm #2, then i put into the wet epoxy the hardware cloth and the 10 pieces. Then a bit more than a qt of Lightning #3. So, about a gallon of intense epoxy in that flat disk layer.
Of course i will have to lean it up against a support to aim it at anything.
I can't get an impression of what the range will be of this or the new monopipe CB. But they feel real strong.
The lazy susan has ball bearings! And will spin noisily for quite a while on momentum when level. Unfortunately that quality is of scant value for this piece.
