Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

Maybe just a coincidence that strap of woman on right emulates a V sign. And cop's cuffs resemble a crescent wrench head. I may be reading too much into these details. You decide.
Seems strange for a black purse to have beige straps.
And the cop with the cuffs also has a hand in a crescent shape. The 2 crescents seem to complement each other in a yin-yang pattern. One is dark and larger, the other is white and small.
