New registrants: if you try to register you will get a message that we are not accepting new members. Due to the limitations of this forum software which is not designed to deal with incessant CIA harrassment, we have no alternative but to disable automatic registration, and then we can't change this automatic message. Your account needs to be created by admin before you can post in the forums. Because otherwise, almost all registrants are CIA sock puppets. To get a forum account you need to send a brief presentation email to loohanforum at gee mail dot com, also suggesting a user name. Then we can enable you manually. But before you even do that, take a look around the forum and my site and decide whether you REALLY WANT to join/post, before you jack us around. Most seemingly genuine people who apply fail to even ever log in once to change their password after we go through the work of creating a membership for them. Then we must quickly delete their account again lest the CIA has intercepted their temporary password. And of the few who do change their password, most still never post. Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

GLOSSARY: Sometimes unusual terminology or abbreviations are used that with some luck you might find defined here.

Repticlones.
Just a coincidence that, apart from chin size, these have the same face. And expression.
Forget la difference.

The moment of impact (Image: CEN)

REALLY! The handlebars hit the PARKED car before the wheel did!

Cyclist carrying statue of saint for 'hopeless and the despaired' gets distracted and crashes into parked car
In just over 12 hours, the footage has been viewed a staggering 5.8 million times and shared by over 200,000 people
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-new … s-12118754

I had to click on this INCREDIBLE story because, as an experienced rider, i know how difficult it is to squarely rearend a parked car. Even i have never quite managed to pull off such a stunt.

CYCLIST WITH GIANT STATUE STRAPPED TO HIS BACK FACE-PLANTS INTO PARKED CAR says the vid. I watched it and it looks very realistic! But the scene in the still above does not remotely exist in the vid.
Further, it is claimed

The cyclist peers over at the minivan, filming the unusual spectacle, and while he is distracted he fails to notice a stationary vehicle right in front of him.

yet the guy never looks sideways. He is looking STRAIGHT AHEAD but crashes into the car anyway. As far as i can make out anyway; vid is blurry.
But how is such a thing possible? Also, why do these guys have NO VIBE as though they were CGI?
I have to suspect the riders were pasted in somehow, facilitated by the blurriness of the vid.

Does that hand on the left seem plausibly proportionate? Compare with the size of her hand in this (unpostable) pic:

As a MTF, John Wayne did not have big hands.

Take a Virtual Vacation with These Unearthed 1960s Snapshots
Robert Doisneau was so taken with the man-made oasis of Palm Springs that he used color film for the first time.

Like, how totally obviously fake does a pic have to be? One glance and you're in cartoon-land. Check the margins of the wench on the TRAMPOLINE which happens to jut over the pool. Doesn't that look natural? How far above the water is her torso? Does it look like she's supporting that much weight?
Look how wrinkly her neck is. All these repticlones seem pasted in. (Only repticlones in these pix.)
And what about the cute wench? What is her body position vis-a-vis the trampoline? And isn't she amazingly in focus considering how sharp the other, farther, woman is?

Another pic that screams FAKE.

shown here doing a hand sign, is a repticlone.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whale_shark

The whale shark (Rhincodon typus) is a slow-moving, filter-feeding carpet shark and the largest known extant fish species. The largest confirmed individual had a length of 12.65 m (41.5 ft) and a weight of about 21.5 t (47,000 lb).[8] The whale shark holds many records for sheer size in the animal kingdom, most notably being by far the largest living nonmammalian vertebrate.

I could only watch the vid once, then was blocked from viewing it again, even with a different browser. It seemed to show, for a couple seconds, a moving scale model that may not much resemble the large version. The large version, being a hollow wooden prop, was not shown moving.
I would like to get a 2nd look at that vid but they won't let me.
