And what is that arm with the black wristwatch doing, sticking its hand into some weird kinked tube? While being supported by some mystery left hand that seems to have a different, otherwise absent, owner?

Why does the blackboard serve as a bulletin board? Chalk is passe', i guess.
Also it is at the BACK of the room. Or maybe it's a black bulletin board, scarcely used. I've never noticed a black bulletin board before. I presume they work hard to keep it uncluttered.
