Is it just me? Around 3 months ago my internet in AR slowed way down and remained that way. But if i check the speed it's the usual 1.3 kbps {correction: Mbps}. That's Windstream "broadband" i get via phone line.
And for the last month i have been in VA using Verizon ethernet, 90 kbps {correction: Mbps}, but it seems exactly the same non-speed as at home, at least on any webpages with a significant amount of images. And gmail often takes ages to send the smallest emails; sometimes i even have to close gmail and re-open it before it will send, Then sometimes i will then find it has sent, even though the gmail interface was stuck on "still working...".
I can upload and download videos real quickly here, though; a small fraction of the time it takes at home.
At home i use a decent desktop PC. Here i use the same old laptop that used to load fast here in previous winters with the same ISP as before. A newer laptop is no faster.

I think this problem may be only in USA. I wonder why.

Right, sorry. Just re-checked and got 82 Mbps.
