Old houses are sometimes deliberately burned to allow firefighters some practice. Once while i was working for a tree trimming company  we went to such a house in advance, and pruned and tied branches away from the house. Later we came back to trim out the scorched branches.

Just the image at the top of the article. This was probably deliberately burned, as it is obviously old and decrepit.

I didn't watch the vid, but skimming thru it i only saw vague, indistinct background pix of the house supposedly burning, so i dunno if that was faked. It could be a scale model pasted in with CGI. Or a CGI pic.
