More blatant confession.

Note how the first appears to be a tiny replica. But then, the size of the shadow suggests the finger is far away enough to cause apparent size distortion. Yet, it too is fairly in focus. Which seems odd but might not be anything unusual.
Since i don't know much about guns, i asked someone who knows more than i some questions, and he said:

It looks like a picture of a real AR15, there are many different configurations and options.  The problem with 850 rounds is heat. I've never wasted that much ammo, but I think after 80 rounds It would be ready to melt down, accuracy would degrade considerably. It only takes 3 rounds for a barrel to heat up enough for accuracy to begin to degrade, with all that heat the rifling would be copper fouled at less than 100 rounds, then it's more friction for the rest of the bullets.

Looking at these mutants, i notice that

Patricia Krenwinkel seems to be a role played by several actors. Here s/he has the same face as Manson, but woman arms.
Of course they FLAUNT this by juxtaposing images with the same posed angle.

If you blow this up, look at the hand. A rectanglular section has been crudely pasted there.
It sort of aligns with the other rectsngles in the background.
The prevalence of cell phones conveniently serves as an excuse for very blurry pics, although the media often posts blurry pix for which this excuse is untenable. Since people are so accustomed to seeing blurry pix for a "valid" reason, they don't raise their eyebrows.

Story seems plausible enough on the surface:

But here is the pic:

Aside from a remarkable paucity of cheekbones, there are doubles here.
In the top row, the 4th, 6th, and last guy seem the same. No vibe; possibly CGI. But even with CGI the Masons would use simialr-looking faces to mess with us.
The 2nd to the last in the top row also looks similar, and the 3rd-to-last could be the same face with a chin job.
Same big-chin guy pops in in 2nd row, 3rd from left. And maybe 2nd to last with chin tweak.
Again in 3rd row, 3rd to last and possibly last with tweaks.

Different face, also vibeless: see bottom row, 1st and 3rd guy. And maybe 2nd, narrowed. This real or fake guy has the most cheekbone of them all. Funny that all the cheekbones settled into the lower left corner.

2nd row, check 2nd and 5th guy. This guy might show up a few times in the 3rd row, too.

But i suspect all these are CGI.
