    It took rangers hours to find him amid freezing temperatures and a snow storm
    Once rangers got to him, it took two hours to remove his leg
    Rangers and Osmun were stuck there overnight until a helicopter lifted them to safety the following morning
    Osmun suffered exposure, hypothermia and extremity injuries in the incident
