Traditional sole on centerline. That hand seems deliberate as well. Is it a 3-finger sign, as the index finger is "crossed out"? Seems a strange way to hold the handle. The left hand is at an awkward angle, and the right seems laid against the twin posts. Is the finger pointing to the sole? What is in the palm, a disembodied glans? Maybe the nail of the left thumb.
And it seems it would be difficult for 2 guys to sneak into the luggage compartment without being noticed, as the conductor would probably be involved in placing the luggage in.
