What is that magenta thing? Surely not a furnace stack, so it must be a supporting pillar holding up the roof. But it feels hollow and made of plywood. I presume it is a prop just placed there. Seems like a lot of trouble, though. Hard to tell clearly from the pics, but it kind of looks to me like the top of this object is a few inches below the ceiling.
What are all those black rectangles hiding? Certainly not naked kids.
