Note: Yesterday i re-checked the numbers of transmitters on several actors, starting with

and found lots MORE. In some cases actors who did not seem to have any yesterday now have a bunch fired up. It may be that more have been added in response to blasting. But in one case i found 20 FEWER, suggesting they can turn them off, maybe to conserve energy, i dunno.
So i guess i can only discern how many are turned on at any time.
I think these xmtrs have titanium as well as copper.
