Why did they crudely paste SHIPPING CENTER on this? Why would a substation have those words?
I think it is to nudge us into realizing that this looks a lot like a shipping container.

Feels like an empty container to me. However, this is not the standard shipping container width so it might not be a shipping container at all. Also it is galvanized with no paint.

I thought that was a screen at first, but actually i think it is a blackout roller shade. But then it should be suspended from inside the house, making this the outdoor window sill, But there is that sofa, plus the sill and frame does not look like it should be out in the weather. And windows don't have handles on the outdoor side.
