Odd place for a curtain. But maybe in the UK people have curtains in front of glass doors instead of having a 2nd, opaque door behind them.
Mirror on centerline. Both look like women but that's an intact male in the center. Whereas the woman appears to have the physique of a male couch potato. Check her back: has the black line been added? Why is there no glass in the front door?

So, they so neatly broke out the glass, leaving no trace of it? Nobody knew how to pick such an elaborate lock?
Seems unusual that the inside door handle does not droop like the outside one.
