Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

Er, it has been almost half a century since i lived in Turkey, and maybe my memory has faded, but i seem to recall that the style of dress in Turkish cities was quite Western even back then.
But if i look at pics of Erdogan's "wife", "she" is always wearing a head covering, even though the other "women" around "her" are not.
And Gulenists are the purported enemies of Erdogan these days. Still, it seems like quite a stretch to single out a "woman" for attack for wearing western clothes, when that has long been the norm for Turkish women.
And if you look at the pic in the article:
Hazal has put on a lot of weight and cut his hair short since the earlier pic was taken, and appears not very likely to arouse anyone's prurient interest much with revealing clothes.
