Can someone explain to me the vid action? This is America, where people drive on the right side of the road, and likewise on the right lanes in a split highway. First, the cop car is following the truck but the truck is on the right side of the median, passing cars going the opposite, seemingly wrong direction. And the cops are cruising on the left side of the median, conveniently devoid of other vehicles on their  side, even though there is much traffic on the right side of the median. Then the truck veers in front of the cops, using an access lane that should not even be there, but the Yield sign is visible from the cops' side. Then the cops chase the truck in the lanes left of the median.

This is after the truck veered in front of the cops. Look at that sign, clearly showing that it is in the correct lane. But no conflict there; the article does not specify that the truck was in the wrong lane at that point.

Truck is not even carrying a load compartment. The "migrants" spill out of the cab. The cab is pretty big, though.

Obviously, there are 2 2-lane highways going parallel here. The article says this is I-35 in LaSalle County but i did not even try to figure out where on a map, because this may not even have been staged in TX. What happened is, they shut down both highways for "repairs" to stage this. So, what about all the traffic right of the median? It has no vibe and is CGI except for the delinquent truck. But also, since this is a separate hwy, all those CGI vehicles are in the wrong lane too.

WHY, if the truck was trying to flee the cops, did it move in front of them in their hwy? Also why is that access ramp from the wrong side of the hwy? That part eludes me. But i'm not awake yet. If you can figure this out, let me know.
Why does the heading refer to "the ensuing crash" when there was no crash? The truck compliantly pulled off the road and stopped, after having turned down some other streets.

[Edit:] I re-visited this. First, I looked up I-35 in LaSalle County TX:

It is composed of 2 lanes in each direction, separated by a median. Plus there are frontage roads on either side. In fact, in the vid starting at 0:25 one sees a (vibeless) big truck on the far lanes going the same way as the errant truck. Note that it is traveling at the same speed as the wildly speeding felonious truck. And no other vehicles are seen in that road. Then there is a hiatus in the footage, and we no longer see the CGI truck but we see actual vehicles on that road for a brief moment before the naughty truck veers in front of the cops.
So, the cops were traveling along a frontage road, wherever this actually may have been. And the other CGI vehicles were going in the correct direction. These CGI vehicles are in their left lane, but we don't see any swerving into that lane to avoid the truck.
But, why would that entrance ramp be there?
