He couldn't have slid forwards, as there are trees right behind the car. Yet the windshield is cracked up as if he had somehow mowed down a tree off his path, and it had fallen on the windshield. That tree which is in FRONT of the car. Even if he had come up on it going forward, it would not have broken, and then most likely it would have gone in a different direction.
Windshield does not appear to have a large gap for Mr BWR to pounce through, so how and why did he get onto the hood?
