New registrants: if you try to register you will get a message that we are not accepting new members. Due to the limitations of this forum software which is not designed to deal with incessant CIA harrassment, we have no alternative but to disable automatic registration, and then we can't change this automatic message. Your account needs to be created by admin before you can post in the forums. Because otherwise, almost all registrants are CIA sock puppets. To get a forum account you need to send a brief presentation email to loohanforum at gee mail dot com, also suggesting a user name. Then we can enable you manually. But before you even do that, take a look around the forum and my site and decide whether you REALLY WANT to join/post, before you jack us around. Most seemingly genuine people who apply fail to even ever log in once to change their password after we go through the work of creating a membership for them. Then we must quickly delete their account again lest the CIA has intercepted their temporary password. And of the few who do change their password, most still never post. Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

ringing ears?

Anybody getting constant endless "sound" that doesn't sound like sound somehow?
There is a school of thought that ringing of the ears CAN be a hyperdimensional phenomenon.

I never had ringing of the ears in the past, except briefly, which went away in seconds when i did the Jin Shin Jyutsu hold for kidneys (wrap one hand around index finger of the other). And even that was many years ago when i was on gluten, Sucanat, potatoes, etc.
But in the last 2-3 months i've noticed this strange steady nonstop sound, not quite ringing but somewhat similar, not unpleasant. It is always at the same volume, always the same in both ears.
It is not very loud and i seldom notice it unless it is very quiet or i am paying attention to it.

I just did a free online hearing test:

The score indicates that you may have:
Good hearing
The tonal test detected good hearing.
Please be aware that this is not designed to replace a professional hearing test.

Re: ringing ears?

I'm always getting "signals" and frequencies in the last decade.
I perceive them as hyperdimensional phenomena because they're always different from time to time , and can last for a couple of months each one.

Some are low frequencies, others high pitched sounds.

But they don't bother me .

Some are present only at one of the ears.

I try to find patterns and cycles on the sounds i perceive.

At this precise moment I'm hearing high frequencies on both ears. They kind of fluctuate in a sinusoidal wave mode.

. .. Ok, you people! Sit tight, hold the fort and keep the home fires burning. And if I’m not back by dawn... call the president.. .

Re: ringing ears?

I wouldn't consider it endless or constant or anything like that. I occasionally get ringing (maybe a dozen times a month these days) but it does seem to be due to directed phenomena (a person passing by with demons on them, or some entity somehow interacting with me when I'm alone, etc).

At least, these are my guesses. Usually it's one ear or the other that rings, and when it does it's only for a moment. Occasionally lasting up to half a minute.

Re: ringing ears?

Hmm. Then again, it sounds like you're not describing standard ear ringing, but a very quiet background hum when it's quiet.

And now that I'm quiet and listening, maybe you're right. I'll check it out in a quieter place and see what I notice. Though I couldn't say if this has changed from within the past few months. Wouldn't doubt it given the weirdness of this year.
