New registrants: if you try to register you will get a message that we are not accepting new members. Due to the limitations of this forum software which is not designed to deal with incessant CIA harrassment, we have no alternative but to disable automatic registration, and then we can't change this automatic message. Your account needs to be created by admin before you can post in the forums. Because otherwise, almost all registrants are CIA sock puppets. To get a forum account you need to send a brief presentation email to loohanforum at gee mail dot com, also suggesting a user name. Then we can enable you manually. But before you even do that, take a look around the forum and my site and decide whether you REALLY WANT to join/post, before you jack us around. Most seemingly genuine people who apply fail to even ever log in once to change their password after we go through the work of creating a membership for them. Then we must quickly delete their account again lest the CIA has intercepted their temporary password. And of the few who do change their password, most still never post. Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

GLOSSARY: Sometimes unusual terminology or abbreviations are used that with some luck you might find defined here.

Revealed: Private jet crashed into Connecticut factory after pilots took off with the parking brake still on, killing Boston doctor couple, their unborn baby and two pilots
Preliminary NTSB report found business jet's parking brake was still on when it crashed into Connecticut factory on September 2
Witnesses reported plane was 'going slower' than usual during takeoff {but pilot did not notice?} and noticed blue smoke coming from Cessna's rear
Two passengers who died in the crash were named as Courtney Haviland, 33 {33}, a Boston pediatrician, and her husband, Will Shrauner, 32, an internist
Haviland and Shrauner are survived by their baby son, who was not with them; family said Haviland was pregnant with couple's second child at the time
    Pilots who died were William O'Leary, 55 {11X5}, and Mark Morrow, 57 {57}
Cessna Citation 560X jet was headed to North Carolina
The factory struck makes laser-cutting machines for Trumpf Medical Systems
The factory is less than a mile down the road from the small Robertson Airport, where the plane had taken off from shortly before

Moment nearly $11 {11} million worth of cocaine is removed from narco jet that crashed in the Dominican Republic
Authorities in the Dominican Republic recovered 288.87 kilos of cocaine off a Cessna jet that crashed Wednesday night
The aircraft was intercepted after crossing into its airspace and was ordered to land by a fighter jet
The occupants of the Cessna somehow escaped
The drugs have an estimated United States street value of about $11million
The National Drug Control Directorate said no arrests had been made

"A Cessna jet loaded with about $11 million worth of cocaine crashed Wednesday night in the southwestern  city of Oviedo"
Nothing resembling a city here. How did the plane get so immersed in the soft GOLD sand without leaving a big trench diagonally across the farmer's rows?
Turquoise. N right. Count how many masks. Uniformed guy leans back onto rear wing though fully aware of the camera.
Wonder what crops grow in such light soil that seems mostly sand. The rows are too closely spaced to be melons.
I looked up the seasons in the DR: "The wet season lasts from May to November," Here it was almost October, and the field has been plowed into neat rows with no plants visible.

OK, so the crash happened "around 11pm" Wed but here it is daylight and it is half-buried.

Re: misc oddities

Time for a change... it’s the gender-fluid watch: Larger timepieces are bought by women as the line between the sexes blurs
The number of larger watches being sold to women has grown by 23 {23} per cent
Report by Watches of Switzerland Group highlighted the rise of unisex watches
Watchmakers traditionally produced designs for either men or women, but line is now blurring
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl … blurs.html

Given today’s gender-fluid times, the rise of the unisex watch was perhaps inevitable... now it seems the line between the sexes is blurring...  ‘Genderless watches will open up the conversation to everyone, instead of telling each demographic what they should wear. A watch is a watch.’...

But they want it both ways:

‘It’s enough to make me wonder, why are these considered men’s watches at all? Why aren’t they just... watches?’

Sure they are just watches, so why turn it into proof of a social consciousness zeitgeist thing, a mass evolutionary trend away from binarity with all its limiting manifestations?

'We are burying our family member this week': Man whose family member died of COVID-19 writes sarcastic letter to Florida's new surgeon general who said 'infection provides the best immunity'
Charles Chamberlain's letter to the editor on Florida's new surgeon general and his thoughts on COVID-19 went viral after he lost a family member to the virus
But upon closer inspection, Chamberlain's sarcasm and disdain for Dr. Joseph Ladapo, the Sunshine State's new surgeon general
Lapado made waves this week after offering the observation that those that have been infected with the coronavirus will develop an immunity to the infection
'I am aware that he is correct because of a recent experience with a member of my family,' Chamberlain writes of the remark Dr. Ladapo made last week
'Of course, we are burying this family member next week' the 81 {9X9}-year-old wrote
Dr. Lapado also has supported the use of ivermectin, a medication used to de-worm livestock, and hydroxychloroquine, and anti-parasite pill, to treat COVID

Note how the forward sides of the guards are sloped BACKwards toward the wielder, making it difficult to trap and arrest the path of the opponent's sword. Compare with pix of real sword hilts online.

Re: misc oddities

Historic bridge {bridge} over Tiber River in Rome {Rome} is damaged by fire {fire} that started in homeless camp 'after cooking gas canister exploded'
The fire broke out late Saturday night on the river banks by the Industry Bridge
The blaze caught hold of the bridge and burned for hours until firefighters could extinguish it around 4am
It is thought an exploding gas canister caused the fire, used by homeless people living in shacks by the river
Part of the bridge fell into the river and prompted authorities to close the span
Boats will no longer be able to navigate {nautical chatter} under it until it is repaired
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl … -Rome.html

The 143 {43}-yard-long 'Iron{!} Bridge' as it is known to Romans ... The 'Iron{!} Bridge' originally served as a railway line ...

One, how does an exploding gas canister start a fire? I'm no pyotechnical engineer, but wouldn't it be more likely to knock out a fire than cause one?
Two, the only probable way for genuine homeless people to get such a canister to explode, is to toss it into a substantial fire when it still has a significant amount of fuel in it. Not impossible but it seems to me they would be cooking on the fire directly and not discarding resources.
Three, how did they get IRON to burn? There is no mention of wood in the article.
Do the pix and vid make sense? Beginning of vid shows the fires in 2 places some distance apart. The closer one especially looks like a bunch of gunpowder or fireworks chemicals on fire.
