Most seemingly genuine people who apply fail to even ever log in once to change their password after we go through the work of creating a membership for them. Then we must quickly delete their account again lest the CIA has intercepted their temporary password. And of the few who do change their password, most still never post. Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

Always hoaxing up the value of diamonds. They could not sell these for much. Only jewelers can sell jewelry of any sort for much.
Movies and TV shows are full of stories of burglars etc stealing rich women's jewelry etc in complex schemes. BS. After my mom died, leaving a bunch of "precious" jewelry, so she thought, my brother and i got a rude awakening.
Jewelers MIGHT condescend to buy jewelry containing precious metals for something less than their melted spot price. They have no interest in jewels or pearls.
You might get a bit more if you give it to an auction/consignment house. If you try to sell it on eBay, it is still not going to fetch much, maybe nothing at all if the buyer claims it was not in the package you sent.
Anybody who has settled an estate containing jewelry knows this, yet, most people are unaware.
