New registrants: if you try to register you will get a message that we are not accepting new members. Due to the limitations of this forum software which is not designed to deal with incessant CIA harrassment, we have no alternative but to disable automatic registration, and then we can't change this automatic message. Your account needs to be created by admin before you can post in the forums. Because otherwise, almost all registrants are CIA sock puppets. To get a forum account you need to send a brief presentation email to loohanforum at gee mail dot com, also suggesting a user name. Then we can enable you manually. But before you even do that, take a look around the forum and my site and decide whether you REALLY WANT to join/post, before you jack us around. Most seemingly genuine people who apply fail to even ever log in once to change their password after we go through the work of creating a membership for them. Then we must quickly delete their account again lest the CIA has intercepted their temporary password. And of the few who do change their password, most still never post. Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

large doses Vit C really that good?

New York hospitals are treating coronavirus patients with high dosages of VITAMIN C after promising results from China
Dr Andrew Weber says he has been immediately giving his intensive-care patients 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C
The Long Island-based pulmonologist and critical-care specialist with Northwell Health says patients are given three to four doses a day
The regimen is based on experimental treatments that were done in China
Jason Molinet, a spokesman for Northwell, says Vitamin C is being 'widely used' as a coronavirus treatment throughout the health system
A clinical trial into the effectiveness of intravenous vitamin C patients with coronavirus was conducted on February 14 at Zhongnan Hospital in Wuhan

Trust me! Would i be grinning and winking if i wasn't serious?
Repticlone.

Some of the nutritional advice seems good, but i never have been attracted to large doses of ascorbic acid. Aside from the fact that too much will cause griping and diarrhea, my hunch is it doesn't help anything, at least not for me. I can't find the article now, but recently i read that when it scavenges free electrons it becomes a free radical in itself! And this is not a problem normally, as there is a reductase enzyme that then clears the ascorbic acid. Except that large doses over-task the enzyme production so that your body has difficulty disposing of the tainted C.
I normally only take maybe 4-5 500-mg liposomal C pills per week. Slow release means your system doesn't get a wallop all at once.

Re: large doses Vit C really that good?

I think so and specially if one is going through a stressed stage and not eating enough fresh greens. I've tried 6gr daily and had no side effects. It's not toxix and 30% to 50% of ingested vitamin C is excreted. Plus ascorbic acid is good for recurrent urinary infections (non bacterial) and a great help for cancer conditions.

How to make liposomal Vitamin C without an ultrasonic cleaner
https://leadstohealth.com/how-make-lipo … c-cleaner/

I recently started doing this. It seems to work. I now am taking more like 1000-2000 mg most days, and it seems to agree with me.
Finding organic sunflower lecithin that i trusted was a bit challenging. And it costs a lot more:
