At first i assumed she was lifting her shoulder because her purse had extra long handles, and she did not want to bump the purse against a curb. But then i noticed she seems to be carrying a purse with the other hand.
Note how the cuff on one arm rides higher to elegantly display the large watch. Do people even wear watches anymore in these days when everyone has a cell phone with a clock in their pocket? I don't get out enought to scrutinize "people". Back when i worked at the bakery i had plenty of opportunities to scrutinize customers, but alas i was not yet aware of Masonic colors, etc.
Wrist watches are an abominastion i have not worn in countless decades.
