Many Egyptoids are genuinely impoverished, and Masonic charities do seem to lift them out of it to some extent, presumably in preference to the non-COTHS minority. The Chinese govt does this some in China. Also many years ago (to digress a little) while i was working at the bakery which sells coffee beans including at that time 2 varieties of certified organic Ethiopian beans, a repty couple came in and said they had been involved with the charitable work of setting up the coffee industry in the 2 locations that the beans came from.
In fact, given that it is COTHS who own the coffee plantations worldwide, as well as do the supposedly scientific studies, i have to wonder if the health benefits of coffee might not be a trifle overhyped of late. Coffee is very acidic.
Of course the same dynamics hold true for cacao to a large extent, but my personal feeling is that cacao is genuinely good for me.
