This ad appeared on Vice but the image was not linkable from there so i looked it up. I thought it odd that the dark-skinned guys are presented as monkeys just out of the jungle trying to fake being civilized. No sox, grossly overlong shoes, and awkward foot angle.
Note how the white guy stands more or less like a man whereas the shoeshine boys are leaning away subserviently from the Big Boss Man, blasted backward by his sheer vitality. Very off-center with shoulders at an angle.
"For Real Men". Who's the Real Man here?

Courvoisier, an expensive alcohol, has done a phenomenal job utilizing this paper ad to convey the message that Courvoisier is only drunken by the upper class. The excellence of this ad begins with the attire of the actors in the photo. Every actor is dressed from head to toe in the most expensive clothing and the photo is even shot at an angle so that the expensive shoes are captured in the picture.

What are those things on his chest, and why are they there? One appears to be some nobillity crest surrounded by LAURELS. And they are placed at a diamond angle, as are some of the squares on the cloth next to him.

Now what? They removed some of the dirty sheets and are putting dirt directly on the boxes. BWBlue colors.

Oh OK, they place the sheets on the bare coffins (you can see in previous pic how flat the surfaces are of the sheets), then remove the sheets, put dirt on the coffins, and put the sheets back on? Some Kosher tradition, perhaps.
At this point i decided to watch the repticlone vid. At 0:18 the rabbi starts in on juicy hand signs.
Later RCs throw sand on the blue boxes and then place sheets over them.
Yet it appears in some still pix that they neglected sanding the boxes in many cases. Some appear to have sand only on top of the sheets.


Shoe worship.

These are real bones, but it seems odd to have a big pile of similar thick bones. These do resemble human tibia bones, but a person only has 2. Why would they pile them all up together? We are to believe that the coffins contain skeletons of discrete individuals?
I presume that after the photo-ops they returned the empty boxes to the COTHS vendor for a refund.
