I rec'd an email today from Amazon about my Prime membership which i had no clue about.
Because i hadn't scrutinized my statements closely enough, i had failed to notice that they had been billing me $14.16 a month since last April.
I called the fraud dept of my bank and they said Amazon routinely does this and is good about refunding.
I called Amazon. They had given me a free 1-month trial in March, which expired.
Apparently somewhere in small print they hide that if you don't cancel this expired membership they will extract a monthly fee from your account until you catch on.
After many minutes of Muzak, Amazon confirmed that they would cancel and refund.
It is odd that they sent me no emails mentioning my membership until 10 months had passed.

I think Amazon boss is too busy sending text messages with big pictures to notice these small details, it can only be a mistake, not an organized fraud of vast proportion?
Maybe technically it is not theft because if you ask the thief nicely they give you your money back lol. Notice that the fraud department is aware of this,
"usual fraud, nothing to worry about, just ask the thief nicely", not likely they would do something about it to defend their customer, there s honor among thieves after all.

Sorry, it was just some info on how Amazon work. Most things on the internet are bots and web crawlers.
