New registrants: if you try to register you will get a message that we are not accepting new members. Due to the limitations of this forum software which is not designed to deal with incessant CIA harrassment, we have no alternative but to disable automatic registration, and then we can't change this automatic message. Your account needs to be created by admin before you can post in the forums. Because otherwise, almost all registrants are CIA sock puppets. To get a forum account you need to send a brief presentation email to loohanforum at gee mail dot com, also suggesting a user name. Then we can enable you manually. But before you even do that, take a look around the forum and my site and decide whether you REALLY WANT to join/post, before you jack us around. Most seemingly genuine people who apply fail to even ever log in once to change their password after we go through the work of creating a membership for them. Then we must quickly delete their account again lest the CIA has intercepted their temporary password. And of the few who do change their password, most still never post. Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

GLOSSARY: Sometimes unusual terminology or abbreviations are used that with some luck you might find defined here.

Self-contradicting media stories

Sometimes the story is jarringly at odds with itself, yet has no incriminating imagery.

The Heartbreaking Story of the World’s Loneliest Plant
https://www.odditycentral.com/news/the- … plant.html

It was in 1895 that botanist John Medley Wood noticed this interesting-looking palm tree on a steep slope in Zululand, southern Africa. Intrigued by its multiple trunks and arched palm fronds, Dr. Wood — who made his living collecting rare plants – had some stems removed and sent to London in a box.It ended up in the Palm House at the Royal Botanical Gardens of Kew, where it has been waiting for a mate for over a century.

Reconcile that with

The one known specimen at the Royal Botanical Gardens of Kew is a male, and in order to reproduce it needs a female mate.

If males are indeed not reproducible from cuttings now, why was it feasible in 1895?
Hopefully they have some new ones started someplace. If indeed this even is a rare plant.

Re: Self-contradicting media stories

This thread is for such stories which have little or nothing in the way of juicy red flag images. There are plenty of such stories WITH on other threads.

New pathogen may be responsible for hundreds of elephant deaths in Botswana, government warns as six {6} more dead animals are found
At least 281 {81} elephant carcasses have been found in the Southern African nation
Officials have ruled out poaching and anthrax but the cause is not yet known
Botswana's government claims initial test results have ruled out known diseases
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl … swana.html

Article has a lot of Masonic numerology.
"Officials and conservationists ruled out poaching at an early stage because the carcasses have been found intact, with their tusks on."
Article only depicts 2 elephants, both obviously tuskless.
