https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psilocybin
Got this name from the book "Psychic discoveries behind the iron curtain"
Basically the soviets tested this mushroom extract to some people and tested if they were able to influence better them. They found the tests, under hypnosis were able to be remotely influenced and made them walking from a place to another place without problems. So this is complete remote physical control to me...
then I researched a bit and found out some scientist such as Timothy Leary, worked on it.
They describe psilocybin similiar as LSD but without physical negative effect, the result of the experience is strictly dependant by the ambient where the subjects are living the experience and people around them. Sort of an experience where you're connected with everything and feel the energy, as well as having allucinations and expanded sensorary perception.
Leary and colleagues proposed that psilocybin heightens suggestibility, making an individual more receptive to interpersonal interactions and environmental stimuli
so, in short, they found out what the soviets found, be able to stimulate a subject to do what they want to do
then there is this divinity school at Harvard... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvard_Divinity_School
seems like what you see in Fringe telefilm, has really basic roots in Harvard university, experiments in consciousness
I'm wondering how much people have the Master of Divinity title...
