New registrants: if you try to register you will get a message that we are not accepting new members. Due to the limitations of this forum software which is not designed to deal with incessant CIA harrassment, we have no alternative but to disable automatic registration, and then we can't change this automatic message. Your account needs to be created by admin before you can post in the forums. Because otherwise, almost all registrants are CIA sock puppets. To get a forum account you need to send a brief presentation email to loohanforum at gee mail dot com, also suggesting a user name. Then we can enable you manually. But before you even do that, take a look around the forum and my site and decide whether you REALLY WANT to join/post, before you jack us around. Most seemingly genuine people who apply fail to even ever log in once to change their password after we go through the work of creating a membership for them. Then we must quickly delete their account again lest the CIA has intercepted their temporary password. And of the few who do change their password, most still never post. Maybe they realize we are too weird for them, I don't know. They get real quiet, never to be heard from again.

GLOSSARY: Sometimes unusual terminology or abbreviations are used that with some luck you might find defined here.

music tuning experimentation

For those who are music creation enthusiasts, try running your synth, digital piano, guitars, etc to 446.4 or 449.8 Hz. +25.0 or +38.12 to 38.13cents.

Play some improv with these two tunings and see how you feel after about an hour or so afterwards.. I feel much better playing at 449.8 Hz than 440. Even more than 432, as 432 is really just a derivative of 440 if you do the math. I can't explain it, but there are articles to search for... When I play 440, I feel Discombobulated and total lack of focus. A bad high. When I play 449.8 I don't feel any negative symptoms, in fact I feel better than with 440 music or no music. More focus.

I came up with that by some forgotten math of golden ratio of the Shumman frequency, or did I just do the Pythagorean of shumman.. Any way I did two separate equations and came to thsee two frequencies. I feel the 449.8 feels best.

Once you go back to 440, you will find that 440 sounds horrible.. To me at least.

Just experiment and let me know. My ADHD tendencies seem to dissipate after listening to 449.8. I only posted 446.4 because some may like it more. It has a different mood.

449.8Hz (38.12 cents) and 446.4Hz (25 cents) feel much more alive and happier. Even the minor chords have a noticeably livelier feel.

FYI my smart phone froze up and reset itself automatically as I was typing this... Never does that. Even with tons of apps open.
