    Richard Cottingham, 75, confessed to the brutal murders of five more women on Monday, but previously struck a plea deal to only be punished for one 
    Cottingham, who has been serving a life sentence in prison since 1981, wasn't charged for four of the murders in exchange for his confession of a 1968 case 
    Prosecutors were eager for Cottingham to admit he killed dance teacher Diane Cusick in 1968 after his DNA was matched with evidence decades later  
    The serial killer previously admitted to killing more than 100 people but police have only charged him in 11 {11} cases
    He also pleaded guilty to killing Mary Beth Heinz, 21, Sheila Heima, 33, Laverne Moye, 23 {33, 23}, and Maria Emerita Rosado Nieves
