Blow this up and inspect, especially where jacket meets background. Due to the fact that the camera used to photograph this must have come from a gumball machine or cereal box, the image is very blurry. So it is hard to be certain where the shopping leaves off. But the shadowing on his face looks questionable to me. And the ear merges with the background.
Also i strongly suspect that the mutant ET steep jawline hs been deliberately emphasized on this freak.

To make sure you know it's entertainment fiction, they give you this very blurry, photoshopped pic.
Look at the purple guy in the center, the edges of his arm. Note how the back of his shoulder looks like the front of a shoulder... In fact, he is facing the camera wearing a mask! They stuck a mangled, masked, purple ET in the center facing the wrong way. No-one can accuse them of attempting to deceive anyone.

What the...?? To left of the repticlone man is a dark area, ostensibly where bricks fell off, that forms the silhouette of another man! This fictitious man's head peers at the back of the other guy with a head that goes farther right than the edge of the bricks. You can see what vaguely resembles a hand and shoes.
Bare joists with no ceiling is what one might expect more in a garage than a windowed room. Yet, the joists are at a very wrong angle.
What is the object on the ground behind van, that resembles a rolled-up movie screen?
Odd, too, that the impact did not sweep the ladder off the roof of the van. They sow these hoax pix with anomalies oftentimes.
Funny how the bush it ran over sprang right back.
Does the shadow to the right of the van make sense?
I suspect the van never was in that location.
Note that all the pix are very blurry.
This is what wall supposedly looked like before:

But is that a shop job, too? My suspicion is, there was a garage here, not a window, and they knocked off a few bricks. Or did they? Compare the rather improbable break pattern of the 1st pic with the one below.
The article does not give the exact address, so we can't try google street view.
But note the BRICK pony wall on left side of bldg, which does not appear in other pix. In the 1st pic, it looks like a wood wall sitting much farther away from the house. Indeed, the brick version seems to be only a few inches from the house, which is absurd.
Then in this pic:

it has inexplicably been replaced by a picket fence.
Also the patch in the wall looks pretty shopped at the top.
Maybe there was no garage after all, and all that stuff was just shopped.

Heart symbols are one of "their" symbols.

Heart later morphs into something else.
