A court in Moscow has sentenced five Chechen men found guilty of killing prominent Russian politician Boris Nemtsov in early 2015 to 11 to 20 years in prison.
“Zaur Dadaev was given a 20-year jail sentence and a fine of 100,000 rubles, Anzor Gubashev’s sentence is 19 years in prison and a 100,000-ruble fine, Shadid Gubashev is to serve 16 years behind bars and pay a 100,000-ruble fine, Temirlan Eskerkhanov received a 14-year jail term and a 100,000-ruble fine, and Khamzat Bakhaev was issued an 11-year sentence and a 100,000-ruble fine,” reads the verdict.

A bodyguard for Memphis rapper Ricky Hampton on Tuesday became the first person arrested in the July 1 shooting inside the Power Ultra Lounge in downtown Little Rock.

Federal agents and Little Rock police officers arrested Kentrell Dominique Gwynn, 25, early Tuesday in Memphis, where he lives, on three charges related to the early-morning exchange of gunfire that left 25 people with gunshot wounds and to another shooting a week earlier in Forrest City in which a woman was shot in the neck.

Matthew Jurado pleaded guilty to Arson in the Second Degree in May, for purposefully setting fire to Kenneth Walker’s Oliver Street apartment during the summer of 2016.

Friday, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The crime was originally thought to be racially motivated; Walker is North Tonawanda’s only black volunteer firefighter.

A Georgia driver purposely crashed into a truck filled with live chickens — because she’s “a vegan,” according to reports.

Judith Armstrong, 26, was cruising down the highway in her red four-door sedan about a week-and-a-half ago when she spotted the truck and decided to smash into it, a Georgia NBC affiliate reported.

The rattled truck driver slammed on the brakes, but Armstrong wasn’t done — she slammed into the vehicle again and spun in front of it, cutting it off.
